Villa Botanica and West End Tour

Duration: 3-4  hours

You can be one of the first to experience the best kept secret on St. Thomas – Villa Botanica.  Villa Botanica at Plantation Crown and Hawk located 1500 feet above the harbor of St. Thomas lies in the beautiful mountain top valley of Crown Mountain and Hawk. This historic sugarcane plantation was at the height of its sugar production in the 1780’s, totaling 200 acres at the time. The estate has one of 2 sugar mills on St. Thomas known as a cockpit mill, a sunken sugar mill and also a man-made 100 foot exquisite waterfall.

You will be picked up from the cruise ship and provided a narrated, scenic ride along Skyline Drive, overlooking breath-taking Charlotte Amalie; stop at the famous Sir Frances Drake’s Seat (a former lookout spot for pirates) for photo opportunities where you can see awesome views of Magen’s Bay and St. John.

We will then tour St. Thomas’ best guarded jewel – Villa Botanica.  After leaving Villa Botanica, we proceed to the west end to visit the University of the Virgin Islands and other points of interest along the west end of the island.

We wrap up the afternoon with 1 ˝ hours of shopping in beautiful downtown Charlotte Amalie.
