Faith Based Religious Tour

Your Certified Tour Guide will pick you up at the ship and we will begin our tour by driving by the Moravian Church and the Danish Cemetery.  Be sure to bring your camera as excellent photo opportunities are guaranteed!  

We will drive through beautiful Charlotte Amalie where you will see the Grand Hotel and famous Frederick Lutheran Church - Built in 1820 in a combination of neo-classical and gothic revival architecture; we then proceed up Synagogue Hill for a brief stop at The Synagogue as it stands today -- a beautiful example of Danish colonial architecture that was completed in 1833.  Named B'racha V'shalom Ug'milut Chasadim ("Blessing and Peace and Loving Friendship"), it is the second oldest Synagogue in the Western Hemisphere and the oldest Synagogue building in continuous use in the United States.

It is them time for 1 ½ hours of shopping in beautiful downtown Charlotte Amalie. 

After shopping, we continue along our tour and pass by the Cathedral Church of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church on our way back to the ship.
